THE BANDS
Saturday, Aug. 29
Lucky Sons (2:30 pm) is a five-piece blues, funk and rock cover band from the Seattle area with ties to Georgetown. A wonderful way to kick off the fun.
Midpak (4 pm) is an instrumental funk-fueled psychedelic experience. With influences ranging from 70’s funk to global grooves, and no fear of electronica, they have created a unique sound and are returning to Lot Rock to share it.
Radio School (5:30 pm) is a three-piece consisting of Kim Miller, Erin Tate and Georgetown neighbor Alan Foote playing original rock tunes with a heart.
Lil Lebowsxi (7 pm) If Lil’ Lebowsxi were a bowling team, they’d be rolling strikes with Outkast, Bad Brains and David Bowie. Fortunately for us, they are a band instead. The same group who tore up the stage at the Equinox Arts holiday party, consisting of former members of Champagne Champagne and Minus the Bear.
Nathan Nothing (8:15 pm) is the musical project of Nathan Quiroga focusing on analog electronics and experimental textures, creating unique soundscapes that blend chaos and stillness with a sense of freedom. Emerging from previous work with Mad Rad and Iska Dhaaf.
Benzo (9:15 pm) Rockers with an addictive, high-energy sound, active in the Seattle music scene with a history of engaging live shows. They perform regularly at venues like Baba Yaga and Southgate Roller Rink.
Sunday, Aug. 30
Bloqueador Solar (2:30 pm) is the solo project from Ulises Mariscal of Tres Leches. The music resonates with themes of identity, loss and resilience, blending Spanish and English lyrics to convey stories that are both intimate and empowering.
The Hoot Hoots (3:45 pm) Power pop quartet are irresistible party starters. Their songs are powered by fuzzy guitars, fuzzier keyboards and headhum-inducing hooks.
The Scoffs (4:45 pm) play punched up rock and roll with roots buried deeply in the soil of 1977 punk, trimmed with late 70s and 1980s jams. They make new music that sounds old-school.
Hex City (6 pm) Electro Goth Darkwave duo coming to you from the heart of the neighborhood, made up of Carlton Crowe and Hex One.
Deep Cologne (7:15 pm) Flora Ave S.’s best original band, fronted by neighbor, Roger Lloyd. Intense, dense and relentlessly groovy, this five-piece makes their Lot Rock return exploring the intersection between heartaches and butt shakes.
Coool Babies (8:30 pm) the Northwest’s premier Talking Heads tribute act return to Lot Rock bringing the whole Stop Making Sense movie experience to life. Their energy is infectious. There’s even a big suit and a few extra surprises.
FOOD TRUCKS
Paparepas (Both Days) offers a wide range of authentic Venezuelan dishes including arepas, empanadas, bowls, tequeños, and sides, with vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free options.
Now Make Me a Sandwich (Saturday Only) offers an extensive menu of sandwiches, bowls, sides, desserts, and drinks inspired by global flavors, including vegan and gluten-free options.
Jerk An Tingz (Sunday Only) Menu is full of authentic Jamaican food options, including jerk chicken, curried goat, and ackee and saltfish.
Tipping Point Kettle Corn (Both Days) is a handcrafted popcorn brand based in Puyallup, WA, known for its variety of sweet, salty, and savory kettle corn flavors

Will you sell T-shirts?
Yes, and you’ll love the design. There are multiple color options, but inventory is limited. Don’t wait to buy one. Get the size and colors you want before they sell out.
Will you sell cups with unlimited beer?
You may have heard rumors about cups being sold at previous Lot Rocks that entitled purchasers to unlimited beer. You may even have one of these cups. No such cups will be available for sale at Lot Rock 3. However, individual beer and White Claws can be purchased on site. Tipping Point also sells delicious lemonade.
Can I bring a chair and/or blanket?
Yes. Feel free to bring a blanket or camping chair. Just please be courteous to other attendees.
Parking Situation?
Parking is not available at the Steam Plant. Park on the street or in the neighborhood. Better yet, ride your bike.
There is a lot going on. I’m not sure I’ll make this one. Won’t I be able to just go next year?
No. This is the only time you’ll ever be able to have this experience. It is going to be a lot of fun. Don’t miss it!
I liked the old Lot Rock. Why did this move to the Steam Plant?
The event outgrew the old lot (and we never really had permission to be there). The historic Georgetown Steam Plant is an incredibly cool venue and we are honored to be able to throw Lot Rock 3 there with the support and permission of the Georgetown Steam Plant Community Development Authority.
How do I get into the lot at the Steam Plant?
Entrance Gate is located on South Warsaw Street (Across from Mini Mart City Park). Gates open at 2 p.m.
Are you also hosting a Spin the Block / Critical Mass afterparty on Friday night?
You may have seen a flyer advertising a Lot Rock 3 kickoff party on Friday night, but unfortunately that event was canceled. The weekend is going to be too much fun as it is.
